Procedures

What is performed at the practice

Every procedure requires an assessment first: not every patient is a candidate, and part of a surgeon’s job is to say so honestly.

Facial

Face

Rhinoplasty Nose

Reshaping of the bone and cartilage framework of the nose to change its shape, size or projection. It can be combined with septal correction when breathing is obstructed.

The final result takes twelve to eighteen months to settle: the tip is the last area to lose swelling.

Note
It has the highest revision rate; we discuss that from the first visit

Blepharoplasty Eyelids

Removal of excess skin and fat pads from the upper lids, lower lids or both. It corrects a tired look and, when skin rests on the lashes, improves the visual field.

Chin implant Profile

Placement of a chin implant to balance the profile. It is often combined with rhinoplasty: a profile reads as a whole, not as an isolated nose.

It is not a weight-loss method either, and it does not correct loose skin.

Areas
Defined and marked at the assessment

Gluteal augmentation Contour

Volume and projection with your own fat harvested by liposuction, or with implants. Thirty to fifty per cent of the grafted fat is reabsorbed.

For safety, fat is placed strictly in the subcutaneous plane: intramuscular injection carries a described risk of fat embolism.

Breast surgery

Breast

Breast augmentation Implants

Placement of breast implants through an inframammary, periareolar or axillary approach, in a subglandular, submuscular or dual plane. Brand, profile and volume are chosen from your measurements and tissue.

Implants are not lifetime devices: at some point they will need exchange or removal.
